Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone

Opportunity August 2025

 

We are looking for a compassionate friendly person to join our Client Team at Wimbledon Foodbank.

Time commitment: Either Mondays or Tuesdays, 11:30am to 1:15pm

What you’ll do:

  • Welcome and chat with people collecting food parcels
  • Use our user friendly database to check details
  • Provide pre-packed food bags with a warm smile and caring touch

Who we are looking for:

Someone who is a good listener, cares deeply about people, and wants to support those facing food poverty in our community.

Start date: We need someone by Monday 1 September

 

We are looking for a Warehouse Volunteer at our Morden Warehouse on Canterbury Road 

Time commitment: Tuesday 10am to 12pm

What you’ll do:

  • Sort incoming donations and check products are in date.
  • Pack food into emergency parcels

Start date: We need someone ASAP
