Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone


2 x Client Greeter – Monday and Tuesday 11.45 am till 1.15 pm

Welcoming clients, managing tea and coffee station, friendly and caring approach, offering a listening ear.

Enjoy meeting new people and giving advice on support within the borough of Merton

Based at Wimbledon Foodbank SW19 1LA


1 x Signposting and Outreach Volunteer – Wednesday 10am till 2pm 

Handling outreach telephone enquiries, providing information and signposting clients to other external agencies so that they can access the services they require.

Listening and communicating with people. Passionate and caring with a drive to improve emotional wellbeing and support for our clients.
